Congratulations to Javed Nazar for a beautifully organised event in honouring a legendary Pakistani now Australian artist Mrs Uzma Gillani. A 45 year career as an actor, a giant of Pakistani Art & Culture, Mrs Gillani was honoured as a ‘Pride of Performance’ by the President of Pakistan in 1982. Today Hon Shaoquett Moselmane honoured by presenting Mrs Gillani with the “Pride of the Nation” Award.
He also presented a certificate to Zahid Hussain Mohamed for his ongoing Support to Australian Pakistani Arts & Culture.
Thank you to Javed Nazar, Anjum Ayaz, a renowned international artist and to many other dignitaries in the audience including Consul General of Pakistan Mohammad Ashraf for their presence. Finally, a special recognition must go to Aaira Syed for her wonderful singing performance.
