Dr Fehmida Mirza, Former Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan was on a short visit of Australia. She attended the Mid-Year Executive Committee meeting of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) in Darwin.
While going back to Pakistan, she stayed in Sydney on a private visit for two days. Dr Aftab Rizvi hosted a lunch in the honour of Dr Fehmida Mirza, on Saturday, 29th April 2017. The lunch was held at the Malaysian and Chinese Halal restaurant “Neptune Palace” Circular Quay, Sydney.
On the occasion, Dr Rizvi invited close friends, their families and prominent Australian Pakistan Community members to attend the lunch hosted in the honour of guest.
The lunch was attended by Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney Abdul Majid Yousfani, Consul of Pakistan Consulate Bushra Salam, Muhammed Asif CEO Easylink Group, Ahmed Raza, Syed Sajid Naqvi, Syed Zafar Hussain, Dr Irfan Noor, Zain Sheriff, Syed Athar Zaidi, Zubair Minto and families.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Fehmida Mirza thanked all the participates for sparing their time on weekend to attend this lunch on a short notice. She had a informal chatting with the participants about current situation in Pakistan and prayed for the well-being of Pakistan and their people.
