High commission for Pakistan Canberra organised webinar on SBP initiatives to financially connect Non-Resident Pakistanis in Australia & New Zealand.
Speaking on the occasion High Commissioner, Babar Amin stated that government of Pakistan has introduced Roshan Digital Account for the benefit of overseas Pakistanis residing abroad. He handed over the floor to Mr. Irfan Ali, executive director SBP and Zulfiqar Ali, Head PRI SBP. Mr. Irfan Ali presented power point presentation informing how Pakistanis can invest in stock, real estate and other investments in Pakistan through RDA.
Mr. Irfan Ali and Zulfiqar Ali answered numerous questions raised by the Pakistani audience who attended this webinar.
The webinar was attended by Mr. Muhammad Ashraf, Consul General for Pakistan Sydney, Mr. Sardar Adnan Rashid, Consul General for Pakistan Melbourne,Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, DHC and Ms. Maria Abdul Ghafoor, Chargee d’ affaires Pakistan High Commission New Zealand. It was also attended by distinguish community leaders including Mr. Muhammad Asif, President Australia Pakistan Chamber, Mr. Munir Mohammad, Sydney forex, Mr. Kamran Mirza, Aussie Forex and various other community members.
In the end, the SBP officials informed that they will provide relevant email addresses and contact details to Pakistan High Commissions for all SBP authorities who can be contacted in case of need.
Overall, this webinar was successful event organised by Pakistan High Commission Canberra.
