Assalam-o-Alaikum
On the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Fitr, I extend my felicitations to all members of Pakistani community in New South Wales. I also convey my greetings to the entire Muslim community celebrating Eid ul Fitr.
Eid ul Fitr is celebrated on the conclusion of Ramazan ul Mubarak, which brings for us the blessings of Allah (SWT) and teaches us the value of patience, sacrifice and empathy. This year Eid ul Fitr is being celebrated in a sombre environment of the tragic air crash in Karachi involving the loss of many precious lives, including a dear friend of mine, Mr. Khalid Sherdil. My heart and prayers go out to the families of the victims of this colossal tragedy immediately before Eid. The recent pandemic of Covid-19 and such tragedies underscore the transience of life and the value of Allah’s blessings, of which life itself is amongst the most precious ones.
May Allah shower His choicest blessings on you and on your family on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
